What will you do?

As an OT Lead Software Engineer, you are responsible for the OT-related technology platforms of Production, such as .NET, C#, PLCs, MES, etc. Together with the scrum teams, you work towards the end goal that you already have clearly in mind. You are the pivotal point in the "road to," coordinating with all stakeholders: Product Managers, Architects, Electronic Hardware Engineers, Production Engineers, Testing Department, After Sales, Cloud Engineers, and Product Owners.

The organization has been growing rapidly for several years, impacting the development and improvement of products for our customers and internal clients. As an OT Lead Software Engineer, you can align all internal stakeholders, accelerating the release of new functionalities. The roadmap and planning need to be realistic and efficient.

With your knowledge of the organization, we expect you to function as an organizer who is not afraid to make decisions and communicate them, prioritizing effectively. Within Alfen, there are plenty of stakeholders with fantastic ideas to improve the product. You know how to filter these ideas and are not afraid to say "no." Your focus is entirely on achieving the optimal outcome. Getting stakeholders on board, keeping them satisfied, and achieving results are your top priorities. Additionally, you might assist in setting up architecture or developing software modules.

Who are you?

  • Have experience in Software Product Development.
  • Are familiar with the agile/scrum philosophy.
  • Have a background in Operational Technology/Industrial Automation.
  • Knowledge of ISA-95 and ISA-88 is a plus.
