Do you write winning proposals, can you switch quickly? Do you have a strong technical affinity and are you known in the world of Energy Storage Systems? Then you can work directly at Alfen as a Bid Manager.

What are you going to do?
In your role as Bid Manager, you will work with your colleagues to create winning proposals. Because you understand what the wishes and requirements of the customer are, you are able to map out the opportunities and risks of specifications and draw up a plan. Your ability to keep an overview and analytical skills mean that you have a sharp eye on how the process is progressing and where adjustments are needed. As a Bid Manager you are able to effectively organize and monitor all underlying tasks, you are in charge of communication and you are able to write a commercial offer.

You use your experience where you have to immediately switch to changing customer wishes, in order to meet deadlines. You easily make contact with technicians, salespeople and production workers, but also with people from purchasing and legal affairs. Like no other, you are able to translate the inputs from these various departments into an attractive commercial proposal that seamlessly matches Alfen's quality standards and the wishes of the customer. Your communication power means that you can work well at all levels.

What do we ask of you?

For a good match, we will at least see the following in your CV:

• Higher Vocational Education/ University degree in the direction of (electrical/energy) technology (supplemented with a business education)
• At least 3 years of working experience in a similar, commercial and/or project-based position
• You have experience with (European) procurement guidelines and contract management
• You know how to make the transition between technology and commerce
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, German and French is an advantage
