What are you going to do?
As a Knowledge Manager you are responsible for sharing product information (within and outside the international organization) and improving the (information) processes. A challenging position in which you use your innovative qualities to optimally serve stakeholders with relevant knowledge. Does this sound like something for you?

As a Knowledge Manager you are responsible for managing improvement projects within the service department of the business unit EV charging equipment and for promoting the process and improvement culture. You evaluate the existing Knowledge Management practices within Alfen and identify Knowledge Management projects that will create value for the full-service models in the short and long term. With this you optimize platforms that you maintain for optimal knowledge sharing, so that internal departments and external stakeholders become self-fulfilling with the Alfen products and services. For this you retrieve relevant product information within the internal (technical) team, make that information understandable and share it via the most suitable channels. As part of the 'Process Excellence' team, you improve processes, product quality and information facilities. This creates a competitive advantage and supports Alfen's international growth.
You will also become successful by taking on the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Advising on the tool and/or platform to be used depending on the product and/or service (such as training courses, e-learning, webinars, knowledge base, instructional videos, new manuals)
  • Initiate and lead interdisciplinary project teams regarding the development of tools and platforms
  • Establish and monitor processes for developing training for internal and external stakeholders

What do we ask of you?

We are looking for a Knowledge Manager with analytical and organizational skills. You know how to organize projects and structure and prioritize processes. You show initiative and you are a strong communicator, so you know how to get people involved in your initiated changes and improvements. You are aware of market developments and know how to respond to them creatively.

You also bring:

  • A completed HBO or WO education, for example in the direction of Technical Public Administration, Technical Business Administration or Sustainability Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of knowledge sharing in a technical environment, for example in the field of Marketing Communication, Learning & Development or training
  • Experience with stakeholder management (in an international organization)
  • Affinity with electrical and/or electronic installations
  • A Green or Black Belt certificate
  • Fluent understanding of the Dutch and English language, a third language (French/German) is an advantage
