What are you going to do?

As an Operational Purchaser, you are the first point of contact within the organization and co-responsible for the operational purchasing process for 2 of our business units, service and projects. You know how to find a balance between speed of supply, quality and price. During the day you are in close contact with suppliers and business units throughout many different channels.

You are certainly not afraid to ask questions to a supplier about delivery time of a specific component.

You actively steer and know how to prevent stagnation, in the supply chain, in a flexible way. Next to that, you are continuously analyzing and improving in a way that you can reduce the ad hoc work and optimize the whole process.

For the biggest part, you will be involved with:

  • Procurement and call-off of materials which are coordinated to the production planning, in the long- and short term, so that materials are available on time;
  • Actively follow up on purchase orders and claiming orders from suppliers. This has to be done in such a way that a perfect supplier performance is achieved;
  • Active follow-up of deficiencies and bottleneck analyses;
  • Implementation of improvement projects which are arising from the operational procurement roadmap.

What do we ask of you?

We would like to see that you know how to structure the logistical production processes with full enthusiasm and drive. In addition, you know how to communicate naturally, on various levels, within the organization. For this exciting role, we are looking for an organizationally strong, flexible team player with a no-nonsense mentality. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • In possession of an Bachelor diploma, for example in Supply Chain, logistics or Business administration;
  • Experience in the field of operational procurement processes is a plus, but not required;
  • Experience within the technical field is an advantage, but not necessarily;
  • Nevi 1 is a plus.
