Solution Architect "BESS"

What will you do?

As a solution architect within the "TheBattery" team, you are one of the key players in the entire proposal process, from the lead to writing the winning proposal. This means that you carry out the prequalification together with colleagues, specify the customer's needs both technically and commercially, and then work with all disciplines to come to a comprehensive proposal. In this role you are responsible for coordinating and collecting all parts of the solution with the specialists on time. These proposal processes are both national and international and vary in size. As a result, each proposal is different and requires a different approach.

Your ability to keep an overview and your strong analytical skills ensure that you have a sharp eye on how the process is progressing and where it needs to be refined. You take the initiative and know how to maintain structure and quality throughout the process.

You easily make contact with technicians, salespeople, and production staff, as well as with people from purchasing and legal affairs. You are uniquely capable of translating input from various departments into an attractive technical-commercial proposal that seamlessly aligns with Alfen's quality standards and the customer's wishes. Your communication skills allow you to navigate well at all levels.

What do we ask of you?

Your communicative and guiding skills enable you to quickly switch between commerce and technology. Additionally, you are process-oriented and results-driven. Furthermore, we would like to see the following in your CV:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably in Electrical Engineering;
• Experience in technology or energy is a plus;
• You are stress-resistant, process-oriented and have an eye for detail;
• You can easily switch between commerce and technology;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, and German is a strong plus.
