Grid Operators

Alfen Elkamo serves a significant portion of Finland’s grid companies and continuously develop new products to meet the changing needs of the distribution network. Our products and services cater to the dynamic needs of distribution networks. We offer remote-controlled transformer substations which can be equipped with fault indicators and network switches, essential for managing distributed energy effectively. We also conduct factory SCADA-tests for several grid operator clients. Our transformer substations are built and tested for northern conditions (down to -40 degrees). Thanks to our own product development and sheet metal manufacturing, we are able to meet almost all of our customers’ needs. Our product portfolio covers substations from 1kV to 36kV and secondary from 400V to 800V, satellite substations and up to larger-scale modular substations.
