Alfen appoints Michelle Lesh as new Chief Commercial Officer
The management board of Alfen is delighted to announce that Michelle Lesh will join Alfen as new Chief Commercial Officer, with effect from 1 July 2021. Michelle brings very relevant international commercial experience to further drive the growth of Alfen’s business.
Michelle Lesh (43) is an experienced global commercial leader with breadth and expertise across multiple facets of the energy industry, including renewable and thermal generation as well as transmission & distribution hardware and software. Throughout her career she has held roles across all commercial functions including sales, marketing and product management with a focus on strategy and growth.
Most recently Michelle was the Chief Commercial Officer for GE Digital’s Grid Software business supporting electric utility customers globally. Prior to that she was with GE Gas Power in sales and product management. Earlier in her career she held commercial roles with what is now GE Renewables, and supported early smart grid infrastructure roll out in the California market, which was an early leader in integrating renewables and EV adoption in the United States. Michelle has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Bucknell University and earned her MBA from University of California, Irvine.
