Valuing all our workforce

Alfen embraces and encourages its employees’ differences, including age, colour, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other unique characteristics. 

Alfen’s HR department, led by the CHRO, implements diversity and inclusion policies and initiatives, with managers fostering inclusive team environments supported through leadership training. Employees can raise concerns through managers, HR, confidential counsellors, or whistleblowing channels. 

Given the historical imbalance in the Metalektro sector, Alfen’s current focus is improving our gender diversity, with a long-term ambition of increasing female representation across the organisation to 20%. Alfen also ensures pay equality, with analyses showing no significant gender pay gap for employees performing comparable jobs with similar experience.
