Site/Works Manager ESS

What will you be doing?
As a Site/Works Manager ESS, you are the technical and operational point of contact on international project sites. You ensure that our large‑scale energy storage systems are delivered safely, efficiently and according to planning.
You work closely with subcontractors, customers and internal project teams, and you are responsible for daily progress on site.
Your key responsibilities:
- Coordinating activities on international ESS project locations.
- Monitoring progress, quality, safety and technical execution.
- Managing and evaluating subcontractors, including work agreements and progress reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Supporting customers on site and contributing to successful installation, testing and commissioning.
- Identifying bottlenecks and actively contributing to process improvements.
- Ensuring smooth, safe and timely execution of complex energy storage projects.
Who are you?
You are an experienced professional who can navigate between technical content, organization and stakeholder management — especially in an international project environment. You communicate clearly, plan ahead and know how to create alignment at all levels. You bring:
- A completed bachelor’s degree (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or project management).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in energy storage, technical installations or project execution.
- Preferably experience in international project environments.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
- A structured, results‑driven and communicatively strong working style.
