VMBO Internships

Alfen offers (taster) internships for vmbo students. This can be for a week or longer. For example, for one day a week for several months or for six consecutive weeks.

You have been instructed by school to get acquainted with working life through a snorkel internship. And I estimate that you want to find out what working in the electrical engineering industry can be like. At Alfen you have the opportunity to do a snuff internship!

During the taster internship, you will fully participate in working on our production floor at transformer stations or charging stations. You will start at 7:45 am and finish at 4:15 pm, with a lunch break at noon. This will give you a realistic impression of the work and help you decide which advanced training is best for you.

The duration of the taster internship depends entirely on the training you take. This can be a few days, weeks or even months. It is all possible at Alfen. You receive no compensation for the internship.
