Alfen supports Electra to open first fast charging station in the Netherlands
19 November 2024Electra, a specialist in fast charging, opened its first fast charging location in the Netherlands this week. Six fast charge points on the A15 motorway in Sliedrecht are powered by an Alfen Diabolo transformer station, which provides the electricity needed to fast charge electric vehicles.

As renewable power generation accelerates toward Belgium’s target of 470GWh by 2030, the companies have worked together on a series of projects to triple Katoen Natie’s infrastructure capacity for sustainable power.

Alfen and TEC sign substations contract to electrify Walloon public transport buses
18 June 2024Alfen has secured a double-digit million-euro contract to deliver customised medium voltage walk-in substations for Belgian public transport company TEC, which provides bus, tram and metro services in the Walloon region. This project, delivered by Alfen Belgium, will enhance electrifying passenger bus fleets in the Walloon region.

Alfen partners with Ellevio Energy Solutions to increase flexibility in Sweden’s electricity grid with 90MW/90MWh of installed power capacity

Alfen’s 20MW/20MWh battery system supports renewable energy and enables a stable grid in Sweden
