Product Owner EVCE

As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the platform level development and functionalities of our apps, for our charging equipment. Together with two of our scrum teams, you work towards the end goal that you already have clearly in mind and ensure that the needs of our customers will be met. In this role, you correspond with all kinds of stakeholders. Internally, your main stakeholders are Aftersales, Product Managers, Architects, Testing Department, Cloud Engineers and other Product Owners. Externally, you communicate with customers who use the charging equipment, such as EV drivers or charge point operators. Furthermore, you are responsible for the following: 

• Collaborate closely with development teams to translate user needs and market insights into actionable features and functionalities; 
• Conduct user research and gather feedback; 
• Stay up to date on the newest industry trends. 

Alfen has been growing enormously for several years now. As a Product Owner, you are able to align all internal stakeholders and accelerate the release of new functionalities. The roadmap and planning must be defined realistic and efficient. 

As a Product Owner, with knowledge of the organization, we expect you to act as an organizer who is not afraid to make decisions or to voice and prioritize them. Within Alfen, there are plenty of stakeholders with fantastic ideas to improve the product. You know how to filter these ideas and you are not afraid to sell "no’’ to some ideas. In addition, you are fully focused to the optimal outcome of the goal. Getting stakeholders on board, keeping them satisfied, and achieving results are your top priorities.

What do we ask?  

For a good match, we are looking for an ambitious product owner (ideally with knowledge of the EV industry). You are a creative team player, with a passion for product development. Moreover, you identify with the following qualifications: 

• Experienced with Software Product Development; 
• 3+ years of experience as a product owner, knowledge of embedded linux is a plus; 
• Familiar with the agile/scrum philosophy; 
• Having a solid background in Charging Equipment; 
• Knowledge of the SAFe method;
