As Technical Improvement Engineer you are part of the Expert Desk Team, whose primary goal is to provide excellent level 3 (complex issues) technical support to our EV Charging customers at home and abroad.

What will you be doing?

As Technical Improvement Engineer you are part of the Expert Desk Team, whose primary goal is to provide excellent level 3 (complex issues) technical support to our EV Charging customers at home and abroad.

You are the EV Charging expert who searches for continuous improvements for an ultimate service experience. In the Expert Desk team, we work together with various departments (including R&D) to ensure that the product becomes even smarter and better, in order to eliminate malfunctions for good. In addition to your daily work, you will also contribute to improving our processes, for example by analyzing tickets and drawing up reports.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Handle issues escalated by 2nd line of support raised by telephone, e-mails and tickets from end users, technicians and/or colleagues.
  • Coordinate (New development) project-based work, where your focus will be to challenge the project team for improving product quality, serviceability and reliability
  • Ensuring that lessons learned from field issues will be taken to the new product/feature development or change.
  • Handing over new product to After Sales department, ensuring that Technical Support can be given to customer as of the first day of its launching in the market.
  • Act as the voice of After Sales department to the rest of organization (R&D, Projects, Quality, etc.) addressing technical performance, serviceability and reliability issues of the product in the field.

What do we ask of you?

For a good match we are looking for an Technical Improvement Engineer with a communicative, service-oriented attitude and an eye for detail. You are focused on cooperation and know how to realize the maximum service experience for the customer through your service-oriented attitude. In addition:

  • At least a completed bachelor degree, with an affinity for technology. Preferably electric
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar function where service and provision of services (in addition to delivering quality) are of paramount importance. Preferably in the EV Charging industry
  • Experience with Project Management and/or Change Management is an advantage.
  • Proficiency English, both spoken and written.

As Technical Improvement Engineer you are part the Expert Desk Team, whose primary goal is to provide excellent level 3 (complex issues) technical support to our EV Charging customers at home and abroad. You have a central role in the After Sales department, based in Head Quarter and consisting of 5 teams. You will ensure a smooth communication between After Sales department and the rest of the organization (R&D, Quality, Project Management, etc.), coordinating  the correct prioritization of problem-solving, change implementation and New Product Development/Implementation across all After Sales activities. You are responsible for ensuring that a new or changed product is ready to be serviced from its first day on the market. All emerging issues must be quickly detected and addressed within the organization, seeking quick and effective solutions. Your strong organizational skills, critical and analytical thinking, and collaborative attitude are essential to succeed in this role.
