What will you do?
As a Service Planner at Alfen, you will play a vital role in supporting and optimizing our Field & Support operations. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of tasks, including technical support, process improvement, and customer relations. You are the central link between various departments, suppliers, and customers, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient execution. You will work closely with multiple internal teams to ensure seamless operational processes and effective support across the organization. Your work will contribute to our innovative projects, such as fast-charging stations, energy storage systems, and smart grids.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:

Developing and managing the scheduling for our service teams working on battery storage systems and transformer stations.

Planning and organizing travel arrangements and accommodations for engineers in collaboration with the travel agency.

Coordinating the availability and deployment of engineers and technicians, considering their expertise, available resources, and customer requirements.

Communicating with customers, project managers, and engineers to ensure accurate scheduling and meeting deadlines.

Monitoring the progress of commissioning activities and promptly identifying potential bottlenecks in projects.

Reporting on schedules, progress, and any deviations to management and relevant stakeholders.

Supervising and guiding technicians and service engineers.

Demonstrating leadership and commitment to ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with relevant QHSE procedures.
What do we ask of you?
To be a great fit for this role, we are looking for a motivated professional with a hands-on, results-driven, and structured approach. Someone who can communicate effectively at all levels and gain support for projects and solutions. Additionally, you have:

A completed MBO or HBO degree.

Affinity with a technical production environment.

Approximately 3 years of relevant work experience.

Strong communication, organizational, and quality-focused skills.

Experience with administrative processes.

Strong ICT skills.
-
Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
