Apply at Alfen
Want to apply for a job at Alfen? This is what you can expect.
1. Fill in the application form
If you have become enthusiastic about Alfen or a specific position, apply via the "apply" button in the job posting. If you click on that, you will be taken to an application form where you can add your cover letter and resume. Once your application has been received, you will be sent a confirmation of receipt and a data storage agreement. We are only facilitating jobs within Europe!
2. Application reaction
We will provide a response within 3-5 business days and a telephone interview may follow to further discuss your experiences and ambitions. We will review your application carefully and respond within 3-5 working days. If we are enthusiastic about your background, we will contact you by telephone to schedule a first meeting. During this telephone conversation you can ask your first pressing questions and we can learn more about your wishes and ambitions. This way we can get a clear understanding of the expectations from both sides. We only use European telephone numbers for this.
3. Job interview
A first and second interview will follow face-to-face or via Teams. We do not use other platforms for these interviews. During the first and second interview, we get to know each other. We will discuss your personality, resume and the skills you have developed for the position. This is how we find out if you are the enthusiastic professional we are looking for. But also whether the position matches what you are looking for and your motives for the future.
4. Third interview or assessment
This may be followed by a third interview, again face-to-face or via teams, and possibly an assessment. Often two interviews are good enough for us to get a good underatnding of your capabilities. After the job interviews, you will hear as soon as possible whether the interviewers have been positive. You will receive an explanation by mail or phone of the choice we have made. Depending on the position, a third interview, assessment or obtaining references may be part of the procedure.
5. Contract proposal
You will receive a proposal by mail. Is everything positive from both sides? Then we will be happy to discuss the terms of employment and send you a suitable offer by mail.
6. Employed at Alfen
Congratulations. Welcome to the Alfen family! Have you agreed to the offer and signed the contract by mail? Then you will get started and you will learn all the ins and outs of our company during an informative onboarding process.
