International Site Manager

What will you do?

As the (International) Project Manager Execution BESS at Alfen, you will play a vital role in supporting and optimizing our activities in the field of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Your responsibilities cover a wide range of tasks, including on-site technical support, coordinating the execution of installations, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure smooth operational processes and efficient project delivery. Your contribution directly supports our innovative energy storage projects, such as the installation of ESS systems for our international clients.

· Set up and maintain of Site Management Control Systems and facilities.

· Coordinate with the main contractor/customer for the installations at project site. · Handling of , free issued, items (if applicable) and liaises with Procurement / work preparation, PE/CE (Alfen / Sub-Contractor).

· Ensure own team and Sub-Contractor compliance to the contract agreement and Alfen rules, and the scheduled delivery of contract deliverables

· Provide input on project planning progress during execution and align sequence of work when setting up the planning.

· Regular follow-up and liaison with the Project Manager / Project Engineer / Work Planner regarding project planning, MDR (Master Document Registration) and developments in the progress and acceptance on the client's side. Join project team meetings.

· Identifying and acting adequately in case of any unforeseen delays.

· Executing (interim) evaluations and, where necessary, adjusting for bottlenecks and progress in realization.

· Ensures that all operations are carried out in accordance with Project Quality Plans.

· Monitoring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.

· Coordinate/manage the required tool box briefings to the site teams and subcontractors.

· Day-to-day management of the site works, ensuring that the project is completed successfully and meets the required time, budget and quality commitments within the contract (in consultation with the Project Manager).

· Liaise with the PM and or subcontractors to ensure that sufficient labor (internal and external) and subcontractors are available on site.

· Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the on-site construction of the project,

· Signaling and consulting with the Project Manager regarding additional work and less work (financial aspects), changes in implementation (Scope / Planning). Administration and report of site commercial and contractual issues to PM (Change management).

· At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within energy storage or technical installations. · Availability of 40 hours per week.

· Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
