Director Product Management – EV Charging (EVC)
Become Director Product Management within EVC and define the vision, roadmap, market positioning and lifecycle of Alfen’s charging solutions. With your leadership, our global portfolio excels in quality, innovation and user value — aligned with Alfen’s strategic growth ambitions.
What will you do?
You lead the entire Product Management function within EVC. You define the long‑term product strategy, guide Product Managers and work closely with Sales, R&D, Operations, Marketing and regional markets. You translate market trends and customer insights into a clear and future‑proof product portfolio.
Strategic leadership & portfolio direction
- Develop the product vision and long‑term portfolio strategy for EV Charging.
- Set strategic portfolio priorities, KPIs, objectives and multi‑year roadmaps.
- Drive profitability, value creation and international scalability.
- Develop and maintain the pricing and commercial positioning strategy.
- Represent product strategy at senior leadership level.
Team leadership & department management
- Lead, coach and develop the Product Management team.
- Set goals, manage performance cycles and support talent growth.
- Resolve escalations and complex portfolio challenges.
- Strengthen collaboration with Sales, R&D, Operations, Marketing and Service.
Product development governance
- Ensure product development aligns with strategic and market needs.
- Approve requirements, business cases and go/no‑go decisions.
- Monitor execution quality, risks and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Safeguard regulatory compliance and strong lifecycle governance.
- Support TPMs and CPMs in prioritization and project execution.
Lifecycle, market & stakeholder management
- Manage product lifecycle phases including improvements and discontinuations.
- Build relationships with global sales teams and strategic customers.
- Monitor market trends, competition and customer feedback.
- Lead high‑impact customer interactions and industry engagements.
- Communicate portfolio decisions and insights across the organization.
What do we ask of you?
- Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering, business or related field.
- 7–10+ years of Product Management or related leadership experience.
- Proven experience with complex product portfolios and cross‑functional environments.
- Strong strategic, analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with lifecycle governance and international markets.
- Understanding of EV charging technologies is a strong advantage.

Where will you work?
You report to the BU Director EVC and collaborate with commercial, technical and operational teams to grow and professionalize our international charging portfolio.
