Sustainability Governance
Sustainability is embedded within Alfen’s governance structure and company strategy.
Board responsibilities
The Supervisory Board oversees sustainability performance and strategy, including the management of sustainability-related impacts, risks, and opportunities. Dedicated committees support this oversight:
- The Audit Committee regularly reviews progress on sustainability matters
- The HR Committee determines sustainability-related incentives for the Management Board
The Management Board is responsible for shaping and implementing Alfen’s sustainability strategy and ensuring it is integrated into the broader company strategy, with the CEO holding overall responsibility. The Sustainability department supports the Management Board by:
- Developing and implementing the Sustainability Program
- Monitoring progress on sustainability targets and KPIs
- Coordinating sustainability reporting and due diligence processes.
