Training and skills development are essential to maintaining Alfen’s position at the technological forefront of the energy transition. Alfen’s approach covers technical skills and safety-related training, as well as social and professional development across all levels. A strong learning culture also supports talent attraction and retention. 

Training is delivered through the Alfen Academy and the ADAPT learning platform, combining mandatory, elective, and personal development programmes. Employees are supported in maintaining and enhancing their knowledge, adaptability, performance, and employability, which in turn strengthens innovation, product quality, and responsiveness to market developments. Completion of courses is monitored and reported to managers and the Management Board to ensure continuous improvement.
