Local grid connection for innovative floating solar park

Alfen supplied a local grid connection for a 2.6MWp floating solar park in the ECW greenhouse network. The Lacustris project was executed and owned by Better Energy Netherlands and Entras.
Alfen was responsible for designing, supplying, building and commissioning the connection between the solar panels and the local ECW electricity grid.
Energy Combination Wieringermeer (ECW) is an energy company and private grid operator of the Agriport A7 in the province of North Holland and aims to optimally contribute to the renewable energy supply in the region. With this project, Alfen strengthens its relationship with ECW, a result of more than 10 years supporting smart grid solutions.
