Alfen supplied an energy storage system in Beveren, at a site of Ibogem, a Belgian inter-municipal cooperation partnership.

The storage system allows Ibogem to charge their forklifts with solar-powered energy, generated during the day by solar panels on the roof.

The project was completed in the final quarter of 2018.
