As an International Mobility Officer you will be supporting employees through their international assignments and ensuring smooth international mobility operations. In this position you will make an important contribution to all issues surrounding cross-border working (immigration, labor law, social security and taxes), the further development of our international HR services and you will be responsible for managing the foreign payroll administration. You also actively contribute to the development and implementation of the further professionalization and internationalization of Alfen. 

Your tasks and responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinate and administer international payroll data, collaborating with international payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payments. 
  • Assist inbound employees with visa applications, 30% ruling, and other relocation processes, utilizing knowledge of relevant regulations. 
  • Execute and improve frameworks for posted workers, in close collaboration with business units, ensuring regulatory compliance for international assignments. 
  • Administer A1 declarations and apply regulatory requirements effectively for employees working across borders. 
  • Contribute to the development of HR systems and frameworks related to international mobility. 
  • Collaborate closely with the HR support team on general HR topics and administration related to international mobility. 
  • Helping with first line HR support tasks 
  • Report on compliancy on listed topics. 

What do we ask of you? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or legal field preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in International Mobility, HR Support or similar role. 
  • Knowledge of international (European) HR regulations and experience applying them. 
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with good working proficiency in Dutch. 
  • Excellent Excel skills. 
  • Proactive attitude and ability to switch between working independently and as a team. 
  • Interest in continuous learning and development, particularly in the field of international mobility.

Every fast-growing organization naturally needs professional (HR) support. This is a new role within the existing HR support team, as we continue to grow our international business. 

The HR department currently consists of approximately 30 colleagues, all experts in their field (HR advice, L&D (including the Alfen business school), HR support and Recruitment).
