Alfen supplied over 300 smart charging stations to the German car manufacturer Opel at the car park of their headquarters in the German city of Rüsselsheim. Alfen supplied two different EV chargers: the Eve Single line and the Eve Double Pro line. Both ranges are designed for energy and grid optimisation and are connected to a Smart Charging Network. 

The charging stations are part of Opel's ambitious electrification strategy that has the objective of launching four plug-in or fully electric vehicle models in 2020. In addition, Opel wants to add a significant amount of charging stations at their headquarters in Rüsselsheim. As of 2024, Opel will be a fully electric brand with electrified options in all model ranges.
