Projectleider Power Electronics Engineering BESS

What will you do?

In your role as Projectleider Power Electronics Engineering BESS, you have contact with national and international customers and suppliers and, as a specialist, you are responsible for dealing with technical issues for our energy storage solution called TheBattery. To this end, you have intensive technical consultations and contact with various parties, including project leaders, installation managers, suppliers and (sub)contractors.

You translate customer-specific questions about energy storage systems and grid connections into creative and functional solutions. Naturally, you work in accordance with applicable (inter)national standards and monitor and guarantee the correct application of those standards and regulations with regard to the solutions to be delivered.

You perform calculations on electrotechnical grid connections or networks to check them against the correct product specifications. You translate technical solutions into electrotechnical diagrams and work out new functional solutions in concrete various electrotechnical products that meet the customer's requirements. You agree the product specifications with the customer and translate them into parts lists, electrical diagrams and working drawings.

What further makes this role attractive is that you will provide support in pre- and after-sales activities. There is also a role for you in guiding/supporting product testing. There is also room for you to initiate product and quality improvements.

What do we ask of you?

Some experience in translating customer-specific questions into a concrete electrical engineering design will help you become successful in this role. Safety is very important to us. If you do not yet have a VCA VOL, you can of course obtain one with us!  

For a good match, your CV should at least show that you

• have a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology or similar
• have knowledge of and experience with MS Office, CAD, PDM and ERP systems
• are a colleague who is strong in organising your work systematically, effectively and efficiently. You anticipate and respond to changes. You monitor the progress of tasks and activities and take action if necessary
• are someone who comes up with original applications and solutions and, where necessary, consults on the introduction of new methods and processes to replace existing ones
• challenges yourself and others and takes initiatives to improve results. You take independent action to implement new plans and solve problems
• have a flawless command of English language, both orally and in writing, Dutch in not a requirement but nice to be able to understand and speak a little, if you do not speak Dutch, we can also teach you this by taking Dutch lessons. it is important to  communicate your ideas and opinions clearly, comprehensibly and correctly.
