Projectmanager Engineering ESS

What will you do?

In your role as Projectmanager Engineering ESS you have contact with national and international customers and suppliers and, as a specialist, you are responsible for dealing with technical issues for our energy storage solution called TheBattery. To this end, you have intensive technical consultations and contact with various parties, including project leaders, installation managers, designers, suppliers and (sub)contractors.

You translate customer-specific questions about energy storage systems and grid connections into creative and functional solutions. Naturally, you work in accordance with applicable (inter)national standards and monitor and guarantee the correct application of those standards and regulations with regard to the solutions to be delivered.

You agree the product specifications with the customer and translate them into parts lists, electrical diagrams and working drawings. Throughout this process, you will perform electrical calculations and coordinate with internal and external technical teams to ensure alignment and  technical consistency. In conclusion, you will be fully responsible for the technical delivery of battery projects, ensuring they are safe, functional, and compliant with norms and requirements. You will collaborate closely with the project leader, who oversees scope, budget, and schedule.

What do we ask of you?

Some experience in translating customer-specific questions into a concrete electrical engineering design will help you become successful in this role. Safety is very important to us. If you do not yet have a VCA VOL, you can of course obtain one with us!  

For a good match, your CV should at least show that you:

• have a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of electrical engineering, Power systems, energy technology or similar
• have a deep understanding of power systems, enabling you to identify errors and suggest improvements when analyzing electrical drawings.
• have knowledge of and experience with MS Office, PDM and ERP systems
• are a colleague who is strong in organizing your work systematically, effectively and efficiently. You anticipate and respond to changes. You monitor the progress of tasks and activities and take action if necessary.
• can coordinate the work of an interdisciplinary team of engineers, including electrical, mechanical, civil, software, and safety specialists, ensuring alignment and a shared commitment to common goals.
• are someone who comes up with original applications and solutions and, where necessary, consults on the introduction of new methods and processes to replace existing ones
• challenges yourself and others and takes initiatives to improve results. You take independent action to implement new plans and solve problems
• have a flawless command of English language, both orally and in writing, Dutch in not a requirement but nice to be able to understand and speak a little, if you do not speak Dutch, we can also teach you this by taking Dutch lessons. it is important to  communicate your ideas and opinions clearly, comprehensibly and correctly.
