ALMERE, the Netherlands - Alfen, a leading European provider of smart energy solutions and EV charging infrastructure, today announces the signing of a three-year partnership agreement with TotalEnergies Charging Services (TECS), the dedicated e-mobility division of TotalEnergies. Under the agreement, Alfen will serve as preferred EV charging hardware partner for TECS across 5 key European markets: the Netherlands, Belgium, , Germany, France and Spain. 

The partnership marks a significant milestone for Alfen's EV Charging division and underscores the company's growing position in the European e-mobility market. In addition to securing direct orders from TotalEnergies Charging Services across these markets, the agreement establishes Alfen as a preferred partner for multiple public and commercial EV charging tenders. The first order has already been placed by TotalEnergies Charging Services Germany and Belgium. In Belgium, this includes an order for Twin 5 Plus chargers for public charging infrastructure to be installed across Flanders. 

TotalEnergies Charging Services is a leading operator of public EV charging infrastructure in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, and a key provider of B2B and B2B2C charging solutions in Germany, Belgium, and Spain. As the e-mobility division of TotalEnergies, a global integrated energy company active in around 120 countries, TECS operates at a significant scale and sets a high standard for its supply chain partners. 

Bringing this partnership together required close cross-border collaboration and strong ownership across multiple teams and countries within Alfen. Both organisations worked through complex technical and commercial requirements, developed customer-specific solutions and sustained momentum across several concurrent workstreams. The agreement strengthens Alfen's position as a trusted partner for large-scale EV charging rollouts across Europe, reflecting the shared commitment of both companies to accelerating Europe's transition to sustainable mobility.
