Alfen Mobile battery is an equipment which provides the required AC power for the customer anytime, anywhere. Recently, there is an increase in market requirement for battery containers with higher energy requirement (power remains same) and the best approach is to parallel the existing mobile battery units. We can parallel either on AC or DC Side of the product but for Alfen, it is advantageous to parallel on the DC Side. There are technical challenges to paralleling batteries of different SoC, SoH and to overcome these challenges, we require an interface that controls the power flow between the batteries. This interface is a power electronic equipment that needs to provide safe, reliable and efficient transfer of power between batteries.
Your tasks will include:
- Understand the concept.
- Select the best topology that works within a given set of constraints
- Proof of concept with MATLAB simulation
- Conclude with justification.
Job profile
- You have good knowledge of electrical circuits.
- You are used to Electrical simulation
- You are an enthusiastic and eager student
- HBO/WO work and thinking level
- Prior experience/interest in power electronics is a plus
