What will you do?
As a Junior Software Engineer at Alfen, you will be responsible for developing and improving software for advanced Energy Storage Systems (ESS). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and deliver reliable, innovative solutions that meet market demands.
You will be working on various ESS projects, where you will contribute to developing software to optimize energy storage and management.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Developing software for Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
- Analyzing and solving technical challenges in collaboration with your team.
- Contributing to improvements in software architecture and the development of new features.
What do we ask of you?
For a good match, we are looking for a driven professional with a hands-on, results-oriented, and structured approach. Someone who can communicate effectively at all levels and build support for your technical solutions and innovations. Additionally:
- A completed HBO degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with software development in C, C++, Linux, and Python.
- Affinity with energy storage systems (ESS) is a plus.
- Affinity with electrical engineering is a plus.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
