What will you do?
As an AI Evangelist, you are the driving force behind the deployment and advancement of AI within Alfen. You inspire colleagues, translate opportunities into concrete use cases, and build AI solutions such as GenAI agents and LLM integrations. You work closely with Data, IT and Business teams to create responsible, scalable, and future‑proof AI applications.
Your responsibilities include:
Strategic AI Adoption & Change Management
- Champion AI opportunities and applications across the organisation.
- Identify high‑impact AI use cases based on business needs.
- Develop and facilitate AI awareness programs, workshops, and AI academies.
- Create business cases for AI investments.
- Foster a culture of experimentation with realistic expectations.
AI Solution Engineering & Technical Implementation
- Design, prototype and develop internal AI solutions (such as GenAI agents and LLM integrations).
- Execute technical implementation and rollout of AI platforms and tools.
- Collaborate with Data and Infrastructure teams on scalable AI architectures.
- Optimise and maintain existing AI applications.
- Provide technical guidance to both IT and non‑IT teams.
AI Adoption, Delivery & Governance
- Lead AI projects from pilot phase to full production.
- Define and monitor KPIs for adoption, effectiveness and ROI.
- Develop Responsible AI guidelines in collaboration with Legal and Security.
- Manage external AI vendors and technology partners.
- Maintain a central AI knowledge base and best‑practice library.
Innovation, Research & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor new AI developments and translate them into actionable opportunities.
- Promote ethical and responsible use of AI.
- Improve AI processes, governance and standards.
What do we ask of you?
- Master’s degree in computer science, AI or a related emerging‑technology field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT innovation or digital transformation.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on AI implementation experience.
- Experience with AI development: Python, LLM integrations, GenAI frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex AI concepts.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and light project management.
- Knowledge of AI governance, ethics, security and compliance.
- Analytical, innovative, future‑oriented and change‑driven mindset.

Where will you be working?
You will work within Central Functions and report to the Senior Manager Enterprise Platforms. You collaborate closely with Data, IT Infrastructure, Business teams and external partners. You are the connecting force between strategy, technology and adoption.
