Junior Embedded Software Engineer

What will you do?
As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of innovative software for our EV charging solutions. You will translate ideas and requirements into smart code, test new features, and ensure that our charging stations are ready for the future.

From start to finish, you will be involved in the entire process—from analysis to delivery. Together with colleagues from various disciplines, you will build robust and maintainable software that is used daily by thousands of users across Europe.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Translating functional requirements into embedded software solutions.

• Developing, programming, and extensively testing software.

• Collaborating closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration.

• Supporting prototypes, validation, and product launches.

• Exploring new technologies and sharing knowledge with your team.

• Creating documentation and manuals to ensure clarity and transferability.

• Contributing to code quality by applying and improving coding guidelines.

What do you bring?
You are eager to learn, curious, and motivated to grow in embedded software. You ask questions, think analytically, and value teamwork. In addition, you bring:

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science.

• Knowledge of and experience with programming (through studies, internships, or projects).

• Affinity with hardware and basic knowledge of networks and real-time systems.

• Interest in Agile/Scrum and test-driven development.

• Strong command of both Dutch and English.
