Become our future‑focused Supply Chain Planner within Energy Storage Systems (ESS) You ensure optimal material availability for large‑scale battery energy storage systems, managing complex and internationally oriented supply chains.

What will you do?

As a Supply Chain Planner in ESS, you work with long lead times, critical components, and international suppliers. You are responsible for demand planning, inventory optimization, and project purchasing for our large‑scale battery projects.

You collaborate with Operations, Project Management, R&D, Production, and Strategic Purchasing to ensure that our ESS installations can be delivered on time anywhere in the world.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Forecast Management & Material Planning

  • Translate forecasts into accurate material requirements for ESS platforms.
  • Identify risks such as geopolitical dependencies or long lead times.
  • Monitor and improve forecast reliability.

2. Inventory Management & Long‑Lead Components

  • Develop inventory strategies for battery modules, power electronics, HV components, and other critical assets.
  • Monitor inventory coverage and analyze slow‑movers.
  • Execute phase‑in/phase‑out management.

3. Supplier Coordination & International Alignment

  • Place and follow up on orders globally.
  • Monitor supplier performance, handle escalations, and follow up on NCRs.
  • Execute risk‑buy actions for critical components.

4. Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Steer KPIs such as availability, supplier reliability, inventory turns, and cost‑to‑serve.
  • Initiate improvements in planning, processes, and data quality.
  • Support digitalization and BI initiatives within ESS.

5. Project Purchasing

  • Prepare RFQs for ESS projects.
  • Perform TCO analyses and risk assessments.
  • Negotiate prices, lead times, and SLAs within agreed frameworks.

What do we ask of you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with complex data structures.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience with international supply chains (preferred).
  • Skilled in Excel, BI tools, and preferably SLIM4.
  • Proactive, accurate, and strong communicator.
