
Team Lead Planning Service
Become the Team Lead Planning Service and lead the team that manages the planning, coordination and execution of maintenance, failures and installations within SGS and ESS. You bring structure, stimulate collaboration and optimise capacity utilisation for a future‑proof service organisation.
What will you be doing?
As the Team Leader Planning Service, you are responsible for leading, developing and coordinating the Planning Service team. You safeguard process quality, connect departments and ensure seamless alignment between planning, execution and service contracts.
You work closely with Service, Project Management, Engineering and Operations to ensure that our field technicians are deployed safely, on time and with the right tools and information. You also develop end‑to‑end planning processes for SGS and ESS and steer on optimal utilisation of capacity and resources.
Your main responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Development
- Distributing and delegating tasks within the Planning Service team.
- Managing, coaching and developing team members.
- Conducting goal‑setting, development and performance reviews (and improvement plans when necessary).
- Monitoring quality and correct execution of work activities.
- Ensuring optimal team composition, knowledge development and capacity planning.
- Executing departmental policy and contributing to Roadmap objectives.
2. Planning & Coordination
- Directing all planning activities related to:
- Preventive Maintenance (SGS & ESS)
- Corrective Maintenance (SGS & ESS)
- Installation and maintenance activities (SGS & ESS)
- Solving issues that planners cannot or may not resolve themselves.
- Preparing the annual capacity plan for preventive maintenance.
- Identifying bottlenecks, delays and capacity limitations.
- Monitoring and evaluating agreements from service and maintenance contracts.
3. Processes & Continuous Improvement
- Ensuring that work is performed according to AIM processes and work instructions.
- Monitoring progress and performance (KPIs) and translating these into improvement actions.
- Integrating all planning activities within Service for ESS and SGS.
- Defining and improving end‑to‑end planning processes (including corrective and preventive maintenance).
- Improving and managing planning IT systems and tools.
- Ensuring correct invoicing of Service Orders (SOs) for both SGS and ESS.
- Coordinating material and order preparation for preventive maintenance and failures.
4. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Leading by example in safety, quality and environmental behaviour.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, occupational health and environmental procedures (AIM).
- Ensuring adherence to safe working practices by internal and external stakeholders.
- Reporting and following up unsafe situations and incidents.
What do we expect from you?
We are looking for a connecting leader who brings structure, encourages ownership and maintains overview in a dynamic technical environment. You bring:
- Higher professional education (HBO) level.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or similar.
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in planning and supervising field technicians in a technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of technical environments (battery storage, medium voltage or industrial installation is a plus).
- Experience with MS Office, ERP systems and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Good command of Dutch and English (German is a plus).
- VCA VOL or willingness to obtain it.
- Knowledge of NEN 3840 / NEN 3145 or willingness to obtain it.
