Alfen has extended the depth and geographic reach of its after-sales service and support to EV charging customers. Its tiered service package has already proven popular in Benelux, Germany and the UK, and through new service level agreements, it will also be available to customers in Finland, Sweden, Norway, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. After the summer implementation phase in which Alfen will train the selected Field Service Partners, Alfen resellers will be able to differentiate on service and onsite support, as well as product quality. Additionally, Alfen has plans in place for further geographical extension to Denmark, Switzerland and Austria.
Marc Boer, Head of EV Service at Alfen said: ‘One of the biggest hurdles to EV uptake is range anxiety and this requires not just that more chargers are installed, but that they are adequately maintained and always available to charge. To enable this service packages are important and so we are thrilled to be able to extend our offering to 12 countries with more to come.
