Alfen selected to integrate an innovative floating solar park in the ECW grid
Alfen has been selected to establish the grid connection for a 2.6MWp floating solar PV park in the ECW smart greenhouse network. The Lacustris project, executed and owned by Better Energy Nederland and Entras, has contracted Alfen to design, supply, construct and commission the grid connection which connects the floating solar panels to the local ECW grid.
Energy Combination Wieringermeer (ECW) is an energy company and private grid operator serving the Agriport A7 location in the province of North Holland, with a mission to optimally facilitate renewable energy supply for the region. With the project Alfen further strengthens its relationship with ECW, which is a product of over 10 years of smart grid solutions support.
