As renewable power generation accelerates toward Belgium’s target of 470GWh by 2030, the companies have worked together on a series of projects to triple Katoen Natie’s infrastructure capacity for sustainable power.

Alfen and TEC sign substations contract to electrify Walloon public transport buses
18 June 2024Alfen has secured a double-digit million-euro contract to deliver customised medium voltage walk-in substations for Belgian public transport company TEC, which provides bus, tram and metro services in the Walloon region. This project, delivered by Alfen Belgium, will enhance electrifying passenger bus fleets in the Walloon region.

Alfen partners with Ellevio Energy Solutions to increase flexibility in Sweden’s electricity grid with 90MW/90MWh of installed power capacity

We’ve moved into our new headquarters in Almere!
30 April 2024It’s a new chapter for Alfen: we’ve moved into our new production and warehouse facility in the Dutch city Almere (our home for the last 40+ year) that’s now our head office. With this expansion, we now have 5 production sites in the Almere Buiten district with a total of 6 buildings.
