What will you do?
As a Recruiter, you are responsible for the full recruitment cycle at Alfen. You partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs; design tailored hiring strategies and attract the right talent for a wide range of roles.
Your work will be dynamic and varied: you will source candidates through various channels, conduct interviews, guide candidates through the process, and function as an ambassador of the Alfen brand. With your data-driven mindset, you track recruitment metrics and provide insights to optimise our talent acquisition strategy.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:

You will be responsible for the full 360 process for roles within your scope.

Partner with our hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements and define the recruitment process.

Source and attract candidates through databases, social media, referrals, and networking

Conduct initial resume reviews, phone screens, schedule interviews, etc.

Maintain candidate records and track recruitment metrics using our Applicant Tracking System.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Ability to meet demanding hiring timelines.

Ability to work and be successful in a fast-paced environment.

Provide regular updates and ability to create data driven reports.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices in hiring

Promote the Alfen brand and culture to attract top talent
What do we ask from you?
You are an energetic and proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You combine hands-on sourcing expertise with strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for delivering a great candidate experience. Additionally, you:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Have at least 5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (in-house AND agency)

Have proven ability to fill complex roles and manage multiple requisitions at once
-
Are proficient in recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and ATS software
-
Possess knowledge of Dutch hiring laws and HR best practices
-
Communicate fluently in English AND Dutch, spoken and written

Bring professionalism, integrity, and a positive, can-do attitude
