Customer Support Officer EVC

What will you do?

In this role, you are the go-to contact for our customers and a key link within our EV Charging business line. You make sure that order processes run smoothly, customer inquiries are answered promptly and professionally, and onboarding is seamless. With your efforts, you’ll contribute to customer satisfaction and the continued growth of Alfen EVC across Europe.

Your responsibilities include:

• Processing and confirming customer orders (via email and webshop) and monitoring delivery times.

• Answering B2B and B2C customer questions via phone, email, cases, or chatbot.

• Proactively informing customers about order status and progress, and forwarding commercial leads to Sales.

• Handling complaints and escalations regarding deliveries, invoices, or production in collaboration with internal teams.

• Guiding new customers during onboarding and setting up webshop access.

• Entering and managing customer data and pricing in CRM/ERP systems to ensure data quality.

• Coordinating with production, logistics, sales, and supply chain on priority requests and order changes.

• Preparing invoices for training sessions and managing ICU Connect by creating chargers, pools, and user accounts.

• Actively contributing to improvement initiatives within the team and optimizing internal processes.

What do we ask from you?

You are structured, customer-oriented, and can easily switch between different tasks and systems. With your communication skills and solution-driven mindset, you deliver an excellent customer experience. In addition, you have:

• MBO-level education (vocational level), preferably with a commercial or administrative focus.

• At least 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing, administrative role, preferably in a production or technical environment.

• Knowledge of and experience with MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems.

• A good command of Dutch and at least one additional language (English, German, French, Italian, or Spanish), both spoken and written.

You will join Alfen EVC, our business line for smart charging solutions. We develop and deliver advanced charging stations for a wide range of markets: from residential and commercial locations to large-scale charging hubs. Alfen is a leading player in the energy transition and continues to grow rapidly—both nationally and internationally. Within EVC, you will work closely with colleagues from sales, planning, engineering, production, and after sales.
