Electrical Technician (Transformer Stations)

What will you do?

As an Electrical Technician for Transformer Stations at Alfen, you’ll be the expert in assembling and installing transformer stations. You’ll work on projects that are vital to the energy transition, ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Checking materials, components, drawings, and tools.
• Independently performing assembly tasks such as lighting, cabling, pre-assembly of rack structures, and final assembly.
• Conducting quality checks and coordinating with the Lead Technician.
• Maintaining order, cleanliness, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Guiding apprentices and interns together with senior colleagues.

You’ll work in a dynamic environment where teamwork and craftsmanship are key.

What do we ask of you?

We’re looking for a hands-on electrical technician with attention to detail and a structured approach. You communicate effectively and work with your team to deliver successful projects.

Additionally, you have:

• A completed vocational (MBO) education, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Availability for at least 36 hours per week.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
