Junior Projectmanager SGS

What will you do?

As a Junior Project Manager at Alfen, you will assist in managing and executing projects related to  Energy Storage Systems (ESS). These systems play a key role in balancing the electricity grid and enabling sustainable energy supply.

You will work alongside experienced project managers and multidisciplinary teams on international projects. Step by step, you will gain responsibility and learn how to successfully tackle technical, organizational, and communication challenges.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Supporting the achievement of project objectives according to contractual agreements.
• Preparing and attending project meetings and maintaining contact with customers and stakeholders.
• Assisting in project planning, forecasting, budgeting, quality, and safety.
• Helping coordinate project teams and promote effective collaboration.
• Supporting the process from sales handover to project delivery and transfer to the service department.
• Assisting in preparing technical documentation, such as diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Preparing reports for internal stakeholders.
• Identifying challenges and contributing to solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

What do we ask from you?

We are looking for a motivated and eager learner, a starter or junior professional with an interest in technology and project management. You work in an organized way, communicate clearly, and want to grow within a technical project environment. In addition:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience in a technical or project environment.
• Interest in energy, sustainability, and/or energy storage systems.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and preferably some experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings or willingness to learn.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• VCA certification or willingness to obtain it.
