Join Alfen as Senior Manager Enterprise Platforms and lead the strategy, development, and integrated management of our enterprise applications, data/AI platforms, integrations, and IT service management. You build a cohesive, scalable and future proof platform landscape.
What will you do?
You lead platform teams, shape the platform strategy and roadmap, and ensure continuity, standardisation and high‑quality service delivery across Alfen’s applications, data/AI and ITSM landscape.
Your responsibilities include:
Leadership & Platform Organisation
- Lead managers and senior specialists across Applications, Data/AI and ITSM.
- Foster synergy and an integrated platform culture.
- Act as the highest escalation point for complex cross‑domain incidents.
- Establish governance to align demand, supply and senior‑level decision‑making.
Platform Strategy, Architecture & Roadmap
- Ensure integrated collaboration between platform domains, IT and the business.
- Translate business needs into a future‑proof, coherent platform landscape.
- Define and steer the enterprise platform roadmap to maximise business value.
- Drive IT/OT integration, digital maturity and adoption of innovations such as AI.
- Co‑shape and execute the ICT strategy, with focus on ITIL/ITSM maturity improvement.
Service Delivery, Continuity & Operational Excellence
- Act as strategic sparring partner for business owners.
- Safeguard continuity, stability and cost‑efficient operation of the full platform landscape.
- Drive standardisation, process optimisation and integrated platform deployment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, security and governance standards.
Portfolio, Change & Stakeholder Management
- Direct the project and product portfolio for enterprise platforms.
- Lead change management and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage programmes, budgets and strategic suppliers.
- Advise, challenge and align senior stakeholders on key decisions.
What do we ask of you?
- Master’s degree in business information management, Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3–5+ years of IT leadership experience in a complex environment; experience leading managers is a plus.
- Strong experience with integrated platform landscapes (ERP, CRM, Data/AI).
- Proven experience in digital transformation and business–IT alignment.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL/ITSM, Agile/Scrum and process maturity scaling.
- Strategic understanding of enterprise architecture, data‑driven working and AI technologies.
- Experience with portfolio management, budgeting and vendor management.
- Strong advisory and influencing skills at director level.
- Analytical, innovative, structured and organisation‑savvy mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
