Senior Projectmanager SGS

What will you do?

As a Senior Project Manager SGS, you are responsible for leading and delivering projects within the domain of Smart Grid Solutions. These systems are essential for creating a reliable and future‑proof electricity grid. You will work on complex, international projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Achieving project objectives in line with contractual agreements and taking corrective action when deviations occur.
• Leading and attending project meetings, maintaining customer relationships and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitoring and optimising project planning, forecasting, budgets, quality and safety.
• Managing project teams and fostering effective collaboration.
• Overseeing the entire process from Sales handover to project delivery and transition to the service department.
• Coordinating technical documentation such as schematics, drawings and specifications.
• Providing timely and accurate reporting to the internal organisation.
• Identifying, analysing and resolving bottlenecks throughout the entire project lifecycle.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an experienced technical professional with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or a related field. You bring a hands‑on, structured and results‑driven work style. You navigate easily across different levels within an organisation and know how to secure buy‑in from stakeholders. In addition, you bring:

• At least 5 years of experience delivering international or technical projects.
• Experience in a technical project environment; experience with energy storage systems (ESS/BESS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, and the ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• A VCA VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Familiarity with NEN 3840 / NEN 3140.
