Systems Engineer

What will you do?

As a Systems Engineer, you are the technical cornerstone within our multidisciplinary product teams. You translate customer needs into concrete system architectures and technical specifications for our charging stations. In doing so, you closely collaborate with colleagues from R&D, Product Management, and external stakeholders. Thanks to your contribution, our charging systems are not only functional and safe but also scalable, intelligent, and ready for integration with energy storage and smart grid solutions.

You are responsible for maintaining a clear structure of system and subcomponent requirements in our tools, such as JAMA, and for ensuring alignment between requirements, design, and verification and validation testing. Within the EVC domain, this means ensuring our charging stations meet international standards, communicate seamlessly with backend systems, and intelligently manage grid loads.

Your responsibilities:

• Translating stakeholder and market needs into clear system requirements for our EVC solutions.

• Contributing to the development of system architecture for charging stations in collaboration with R&D experts.

• Elaborating subsystem requirements in consultation with involved disciplines such as embedded software, electronics, and mechanical design.

• Maintaining and updating the requirements structure and documentation in JAMA.

• Identifying and mitigating technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinating technical documentation and the delivery of the construction file.

• Maintaining an overview at system level, from concept to final documentation.

What do we ask of you?

You have a strong analytical mindset, can easily switch between abstract system-level thinking and technical detail, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues from a wide range of disciplines. You take initiative, maintain a clear overview, and get energy from structuring complex technical challenges.

In addition, you bring:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software or Mechatronics.

• Experience with system architecture and requirement management (preferably using JAMA).

• Familiarity with multidisciplinary R&D projects.

• Proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
