What will you do?

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you play a key role in monitoring and improving the performance of our BESS installations in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia. From our modern control room, you monitor system performance, resolve issues remotely and support customers with operational questions. Your expertise helps prevent disruptions, maximize uptime and improve the operational efficiency of our energy storage systems.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support via phone and email on operational issues.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers.
  • Proactively and reactively monitoring all BESS assets to ensure optimal performance.
  • Performing remote troubleshooting and alarm analysis.
  • Logging and managing incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
  • Analysing system performance using SCADA systems.
  • Preparing service assignments for out‑of‑hours interventions.
  • Accurately documenting service activities and reports.
  • Informing customers about updates, incidents and progress.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
  • Improving system performance through gap analyses and evaluation of response times.
  • Managing SLAs, maintaining availability logs and reporting special events.
  • Implementing remote software updates in alignment with customers and software specialists.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused and technically skilled professional with an electrical engineering bachelor’s background. You thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment, are resilient under pressure and are willing to work in shifts and on‑call rotations. You also bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in energy technology, sustainable energy or a related electrical engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA and/or PLC control systems.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work evening shifts and participate in on‑call duties.
  • A structured, results‑oriented and hands‑on work approach.
  • Customer focus, analytical thinking and strong communication skills.
