Site/Works Manager BESS

What will you do?

As a Site/Works Manager BESS, you are responsible for the supervision, coordination and quality assurance of our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on international project sites. You provide technical support, manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Your work ensures that ESS installations are carried out efficiently, safely and in line with planning.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Coordinating activities on international project sites, with a focus on progress, safety, quality and technical execution.
• Managing subcontractors and promoting effective collaboration with internal project teams.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and technical specifications.
• Supporting customers on-site and contributing to the successful installation and commissioning of ESS and BESS systems.
• Ensuring smooth operational progress across international energy storage projects.

What do we ask of you?

We are looking for an experienced professional who is technically strong and able to communicate effectively at all levels. You work in a structured, results-oriented way and know how to build support within complex projects. You also bring:

• A completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or project management.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in energy storage, technical installations or a comparable technical project role.
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
