Work Preparator SGS Projects

What will you do? 

As a Work Planner Smart Grids at Alfen, you are the link between engineering, production, and the customer. You ensure that all required information, materials, and documents are available on time and in full, so our projects run smoothly. 

Your tasks and responsibilities include: 

• Preparing part lists, technical assignments, drawings, work descriptions, and material lists for Smart Grid products such as transformer substations and medium-voltage solutions. 

• Processing and archiving production and project documentation. 

• Preparing and detailing orders and required resources. 

• Coordinating with customers, project managers, and sales on components to be developed. 

• Checking production feasibility and planning in consultation with the capacity planner. 

• Handling deviations or changes and providing feedback to stakeholders. 

• Correctly archiving processed orders and answering order-related questions. 

• Working according to QHSE procedures and contributing to improvement processes (LEAN). 

What do we ask of you? 

We are looking for an accurate and communicative professional who excels at planning and organizing. You have an eye for quality and enjoy working together to achieve results. You also bring: 

• A completed MBO level 4 technical education (Data/Electrical or TSI). 

• Experience in work preparation within a technical environment. 

• Affinity with administrative processes and insight into workflows. 

• Knowledge of MS Office and an ERP system. 

• Good command of Dutch and English (German is a plus). 

• A valid VCA VOL certificate. 

• Affinity with improvement processes (preferably LEAN).
