(International) Project Execution Manager BESS

What will you be doing?

As an (International) Project Execution Manager BESS, you are responsible for the on‑site execution and coordination of our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. You act as the main point of contact for operational progress, quality and safety.

You support and optimise field activities, coordinate subcontractors and collaborate closely with internal teams such as Engineering, Project Management and Support. You contribute directly to the successful installation of ESS/BESS systems for international customers and ensure that all on‑site activities run smoothly and safely.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating activities on international project sites and monitoring progress, quality and planning.
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring strong collaboration with internal project teams.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and project procedures.
• Supporting technical execution on site and resolving operational challenges.
• Facilitating and guiding ESS project activities from installation to handover to operations.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled professional with a hands‑on, structured and results‑driven approach. You communicate clearly at all levels, take ownership and know how to build support for your plans and solutions. You bring:

• A completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in project execution or site management within energy storage, technical installations or industrial project environments.
• Full‑time availability (40 hours per week).
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Strong sense of responsibility, independent work style and excellent communication skills.
